Somebody said something funny (Renee, Tara, Cat)
Even Chris and Dave are laughing. Jordan and Amanda, meanwhile, are enagaged by a passing superhero?
Unfortunately, the photos that I failed to take were of the incredible spread put out by Cheryl (Meg's mom for the unitiated, beloved Cherlosh to a few) with some help from her sous-chef's Meg and myself. There were two pork shoulders done on the charcoal, a smoked ham, asparagus with prosciutto and goat cheese, three salads, various finger foods and chocolate mousse and peach flan for dessert. A true farewell feast. It was all capped off by the most delicious 23 old Guatemalan Rum, "Ron Zacapa." If there's a finer drink out there, I've yet to find. Gracias a Cameron for its bringing, opening and sharing. It's so deliciously smooth and fine that I think we were both quite surprised to discover that we'd finished the bottle.
